Ethan House B&B was like a cozy home. The warm hospitality from Roy immediately put me at ease. Breakfast was a particular standout. Freshly cooked food, thick-cut bacon, and good love story placemats added a unique charm to every meal. The Double Room was immaculate, snug, and very comfortable. I loved the easy access to the nearby beach, just a couple of minutes away. The only downside was the uphill walk to the village, which could be challenging, especially in bad weather. The experience was lovely, but a small sitting area or bar would have been nice in the evenings.

I loved the location that was very central and near to near to Cork. I was offered a great breakfast for veggies too.

Everything was fantastic, amicable staff, marvellous location very close to Glandore, Rosscarbery, which is a beautiful village in a lovely part of Ireland, and the pier and a beautiful beach. The breakfast was delicious, absolutely superb with good coffee and veggies too, for example.

The breakfast was a feast, with a range of dishes that left my tastebuds dancing! The smoothies were a fresh highlight, and the proximity to local gems like O'Callaghan-Walshe and Market House made for good culinary explorations.
The Clairaudient rooms did make for some cheeky eavesdropping on family conversations, and finding the place required a bit of scouting, but the adventure was worth it!

Is it a hit or a miss? Here's my take
The bed was comfortable the breakfast was freshly cooked with superb quality food. Each dining table had lovely placemats showcasing a different love story add to the charming ambiance.
Some noise might be heard from the surrounding areas but it didn't overshadow the cute atmosphere provided by the host.

Great double room, but uphill access to town was a bit uphill.

The location was not ideal, unless you enjoy steep climbs. The 'charming' breakfast was a little too early for those of us with busy schedules. Honestly, a complimentary gesture woudl ve been nice, but I guess the staff doesn't believe in upgrades for superior guests. I almost wrote a glowing review, but just couldn't!

We enjoyed a cozy stay with our little one, and the atmosphere was wonderfully inviting. The kids loved the beach, just a hop away, and the freshly cooked breakfast was a highlight for all of us.
In my wife's opinion, a small kids' play area would be fantastic.
